This 10x power telescoping spyglass, is wrapped in brown leather and disassembles for cleaning. Old-world-like telescope measures 15-1/4" long x 1-3/8" wide, and weighs about 1/2 pound. Has good viewing quality and smooth movement.
Spyglasses were one of the essentials of seafaring life; introduced after Galileo's astronomical telescopes by the middle of the 18th century.
